Summary / Objective

Senior Sales Manager ready to take on the instrumental role of helping us to grow our ICT Solutions and Services business

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Form a Sales Strategy for ICT solutions and Services, with company objectives

  • Successfully acquire and close business opportunities and achieve agreed annual Sales targets

  • Proactive development of client base

  • Client/Account management, Pipeline generation

  • Communicate client and market requirements to our engineering teams

  • Support the definition of ICT solutions technically and commercially

  • Assist in the preparation of tenders/proposals in a timely manner

  • Maintain after sales relationships, ensuring clients are wholly satisfied with our products and services

Qualifications / Experience

  • University degree in Engineering or similar. An MBA in addition is an asset.

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience across the following areas: Servers, Virtualisation, Hyper Converged and Storage Infrastructure; Software-Defined Networking, Software-Defined Storage; Data Centre Networking and Security; Cybersecurity; Implementation, Consulting and Managed Services

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in ICT Solutions and Services, including lead generation, prospect qualification, pipeline building, negotiation, objective/target achievement, solution sales, account management skills

  • Extensive experience in establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales plans, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new solutions and services

  • Experience in creating, building and managing relationships with vendors and networks

  • Strong industry experience, contacts in the market, and a strong track record in sales in mission-critical ICT infrastructure environments in different industry sectors, such as space and aviation, energy, banking and financial services

  • Extensive experience with complex proposals for the public sector as well as commercial customers

  • Ability to 'think outside the box' in terms of strategy

  • Analytical interpretation and advanced problem solving abilities

  • Expert industry knowledge coupled with the ability to translate client needs into a complete solution

  • Presentation skills at CxO level

  • Positive, team oriented, confident approach and a hungry attitude

  • Self-starter with strong self-motivation and hands-on approach

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language

Desirable Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the German language
